At the Viewpoint Hotel in York the loved ones of Alex and Matt spent a warm summer day enjoying one of Maine’s most beautiful vistas. The couple’s fun loving personality was reflected in their color choices for their floral arrangements by Minka, including shades of pink, peach, and cream. For a fun take on dessert, the couple chose to incorporate a Portland favorite Eighty8 Donuts as a special treat for both local and out-of-state guests alike. Alex and Matt were such a sweet couple to work with, and we loved every minute!

MEET THE COUPLE

How did you and your partner meet?

It's your typical modern-day love story that starts with a Canadian boy meeting an Alaskan girl in New York City over a dating app. Her company, Creative Picnic, sparked a hungry Matt's interest because he thought her company did in fact make "creative picnics". Despite brief disappointment, Matt took Alex on her first picnic date and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?

I think the ceremony was the most spectacular.

Favorite part about having a designer from PMP?

Christina was incredibly efficient and organized on top of being creative and resourceful. She really listened to our concerns and questions so that we felt heard then worked incredibly hard to find any necessary solutions. Everything went perfectly.
