Jenny and Michael's Mountain-View Wedding at Granite Ridge
On a mild day in June, Jenny and Michael celebrated their love surrounded by the mountains at Granite Ridge Estate in Norway, Maine. At this romantic venue, the vaulted ceiling and flowers by Broadturn Farm served as a perfect backdrop for the couple as they joined with their families and friends in a celebration that included delicious food by Bread & Butter and music by DJ Marc Entertainment. The couple ended their day with a picturesque sunset overlooking the landscape surrounding the barn, the perfect vignette of a beautiful day.
MEET THE COUPLE
1) How did you and your partner meet?
We met while working at Shake Shack in Boston. Michael was my manager. We had to keep our relationship a secret for months... when Michael's bosses found out, they told him to choose me or the restaurant. He made the right choice. :)
2) What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Definitely when my brother in laws gave Michael and I Dundie Awards! I was so surprised and impressed!!! And of course it was hilarious.
3) Favorite part about having a coordinator from PMP :) ?
Literally everything! I always knew that I wanted to have a coordinator because I tend to feel really anxious around large groups of people, especially when attention is on me. I knew that I'd be managing my own mental load on my wedding day, and I didn't want to have to think about anything else. You took literally everything off my plate for me and allowed me to just show up and have an amazing day! There are things you did that I am sure I don't even know you did, because you are just that smooth! I honestly had no idea how much work goes into putting on an event, and it was an amazing experience to have someone that knows how to throw a great party take the reins. It took the pressure off me and really helped me and my husband enjoy the day. If I didn't have you on my wedding day, it would have been a mistake!
