For their July wedding, Eliza and Kris exchanged vows overlooking the ocean at the scenic Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine. The couple had postponed from 2020, but looking at these two, you could see it was well worth the wait. The color palette of blush, mauve, and navy lent itself well inside the tent at the resort, and the touches of greenery on the tables gave the nuptials a bright and summery feel appropriate for the beautiful day.

MEET THE COUPLE

1)  How did you and your partner meet?

Kris and I met for the first time at a Northeastern alumni event in Boston. A few of my coworkers played matchmaker (without my knowledge) for a “random” meetup. We are lucky they were looking out for us!

2)  What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?

It’s so hard to pick only one, but the moment I arrived at the ceremony with my bridesmaids and dad was really special. We were shuttled in so I was able to take in Kris, our families and guests all anticipating our arrival. It was so exciting to see all of our closest friends and family in one place, ready to celebrate our wedding day with us. It felt very surreal and was definitely the “this is really happening” moment I had been waiting for after postponing our original wedding date from the previous summer due to covid. It made me appreciate that moment so much more and really set the tone for the rest of the celebrations!

3)  Favorite part about having a designer from PMP :) ? 

Working with Christina made such a positive impact on our overall wedding planning experience! Christina’s expertise was invaluable and made us feel extremely confident in every decision we made for our big day. I felt like I had a friend on my side throughout the planning process that also happened to know everything about planning the wedding of our dreams. Being able to tap into PMP’s extensive vendor network was a huge bonus and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together so seamlessly. I was floored when I saw our vision come together perfectly on our wedding day and Christina enhanced it with so many creative touches that we would have never thought of without her help. I’m very thankful I found PMP!
