The weather was perfect for Tessa and Ryan’s celebration, when we ventured to midcoast Maine to French’s Point. The couple had the estate to themselves and their guests for an unforgettable wedding getaway. French’s Point is a beautiful waterfront estate with several cottages and sprawling oceanfront areas to relax. Open year-round, Tessa and Ryan chose a late spring-early summer wedding in late June, the perfect time to to soak up the Maine sun and ocean mist.
Since the 1800's, many have adventured to midcoast Maine to take in the natural tranquility of the area. The sound of waves on the shore and the scent of beach roses and pine needles is what kept people coming back. Today, French’s Point is a vacation rental property that offers a getaway wedding experience surrounded by natural splendor.
Situated on a scenic estate with flowers by East of Eden and wedding essentials provided by a variety of some of Maine’s best event companies, Tessa and Ryan’s wedding was shaping up to be a beautiful and romantic experience for all.
A unique Wedding experience
At French’s Point, couples can fully customize their own weddings, making it uniquely their own. There are eight ceremony settings and 19 gathering spaces available for couples to choose what suits them best. For their ceremony, Tessa and Ryan chose the oceanside gazebo, a romantic and breathtaking spot to celebrate love.
An elegant celebration
Trillium provided yummy eats for the reception, which featured entertainment by Plush Music. Every detail of the wedding was planned out to create an elegant and inviting atmosphere, and French’s Point was the perfect place to plan it out. With the entire estate to themselves for the whole weekend, Tessa and Ryan and their guests enjoyed a magical getaway in midcoast Maine.
