Charming and Romantic Brick South Maine Wedding

Verdant greenery and simple candles created a warm ambiance for Jenna and Eric’s Brick South wedding. The foliage lined the aisles, ran the tables, and romantic candles were contrasted by the exposed brick and concrete floors of the space to make for an utterly charming and unforgettable setting. Brick South housed both their ceremony and reception, making the event seamless and full of love from start to finish. Guests enjoyed spending the evening under the twinkling lights, while Jenna and Eric’s favorite part was dancing the night away. There are moments we wish we could bottle up — and every moment of Jenna’s and Eric’s day gave those in attendance that feeling.

1) How did you and your partner meet?

Bentley University is where it all began. Our friends tried to set us up Junior year, but the timing wasn't right. I went off to study abroad, and our paths crossed back at school during senior year when we both moved in before classes started. Eric was there early for soccer, and I was a freshman seminar facilitator. We were living in the same building, a floor apart from each other. Eric asked me to dinner in the North End. It was pouring rain, and Eric was on crutches due to a soccer injury. He insisted on dropping me off at the restaurant while he parked the car. I knew he was special. We hit it off at dinner and quickly became inseparable. The rest is history!

2)  What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?

This is so hard! Probably walking down the aisle to Eric’s favorite song that he wanted to dance to but I wanted to surprise him and walk down to it. I was so excited for that moment! And our ceremony by Michelle from Swoon Union. Michelle wrote us such a beautiful ceremony. And of course, dancing the night away!

3)  Favorite part about having a coordinator from PMP?

Christina and her team are truly amazing. We used PMP for day-of coordination, which actually starts long before the day. Christina learned every detail of my wedding and was there for me every step of the way. Things you would never think of, Christina and her team have! There is no detail that will go unnoticed. But, what I appreciated most about her, is that as much as she’s involved in every detail, she reminds you what really matters. It’s not the napkin fold or the glasses, it’s (in her words) “presence over perfection and being surrounded by those who love you most”. It’s so important to remember that on your day.
