Soft and Simple September Wedding at Marianmade Farm
It was a beautiful September day for Nora and Connie’s magical Maine wedding at Marianmade Farm. The rustic location set along Maine’s coast was the perfect location for this lovely couple. Marianmade is an operating lavender and flower farm, and the colorful florals and arrangements provided by Emily Carter created the most romantic backdrop. From the waterfront ceremony to the soft color accents, it was a beautiful day overall.

How did you meet?
We met on Tinder! Very millennial of us. :)
Favorite part of your wedding day?
Connie: The speeches our friends and family gave during the reception. You could tell they had put a lot of thought into them and they were all so sweet. My friend Deirdre had the entire room crying from laughing so hard!
Nora: It’s hard to narrow down one memory but I think my favorite is walking down the hill to the altar. Seeing the faces of all of our friends and family was such an amazing feeling and took my mind off of trying not to trip.
Best part of having a wedding coordinator?
Having a coordinator was the best money we spent on our wedding. When she first took over she reminded us to think of things we might have otherwise overlooked and kept us on task and organized. As we got closer, she was instrumental in keeping us sane. Knowing that she was going to be there on the day to set everything up was such a relief. Another added benefit was that she was there to run our ceremony rehearsal. She was able to wrangle a large bridal party and get us rehearsed in only 15 minutes. As someone who works in the event industry, I thought it would be hard to hand over the control but it was the best.
