Moody and Modern Wedding at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum
For Lucy and Kyle’s big day, we traveled to Brookline, Massachusetts, for a beautiful wedding at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. From the ivy covered building to vintage cars, it was the perfect combination of classic and modern touches. The Parlor Ice Cream Co. provided yummy desserts in the evening, and everyone danced the night away to Siagel Productions! Amy Spirito expertly captured every precious moment for Lucy and Kyle to cherish forever.
Meet the couple
How did you and your husband meet?
Kyle and I met while we were in college. He was friends with, and attended Northeastern University with, my best friend (and maid of honor), Jill, who introduced us our junior year. After initially meeting, we reconnected after I had graduated from UMass Amherst, and he was finishing his final year at Northeastern. We ended up living together in Boston the summer of 2011 (with four other roommates) when I started a new job, and we eventually became better friends. It wasn't until January 2012 when we officially started dating, and we have been together ever since. Almost eight years and counting!
What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
It's honestly so hard to pick just one memory. I loved doing a first look. Getting to see Kyle for the first time in a wedding dress was pretty surreal! I also loved all of the first dances. I don't think I've ever slow danced with my dad, so that was a very special moment for me. Kyle and I also snuck away toward the end of the reception and danced to one of our other favorite songs, "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" by John Mayer, outside of the tent. It was such a perfect moment, and really gave us the opportunity to take a step back and realize how grateful we were watching all of our friends and family. It was so fun to see everyone enjoying themselves!
Favorite part about having a day-of coordinator :) ?
Working with Pinch Me Planning was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Both Christina and our day of coordinator Lena were amazing! The PMP team is incredibly organized and help take so much pressure off of having to worry about anything during the planning process. I worked closest with Lena who was always super responsive, provided honest opinions and recommendations when I had questions, and was very patient and calm leading up to and during the big day. I would highly recommend working with the PMP team.
