Once in a Lifetime Private House Island Wedding
Caroline and Peter - I cannot say enough about this couple. They were the perfect pair to team up with to get a wedding planned on an island. They trusted us to ensure the day would go off without a hitch, were efficient and considerate of each other in their decision making, and frankly, just fun to be around. A Historic House Island wedding is no easy feat, but they made every minute of the planning process enjoyable, so I couldn’t have been happier that their wedding day was pure perfection. A clear top tent awaited guests as they came off the private ferry we chartered.
Waterfront nuptials
The floral terrace provided the perfect backdrop to this waterside wedding. An A+ Maine day that wasn’t too hot, but the sun shined bright over Casco Bay. The warm August day brought beautiful weather as Caroline and Peter exchanged their vows in front of friends and family.

How did you two meet?
We originally matched on a dating app on a Friday night. From that conversation, we made plans to go on a date that following Monday, but happened to run into each other that same Friday night at a bar! We instantly hit it off and were very excited to meet up again on Monday.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
We couldn’t pick one! But narrowed it down to two. One of our favorite memories was taking some alone time right around sunset. We walked down to the dock and longed out at the gorgeous sunset. Right after that we got to come back and enjoy the view while listening to our favorite people deliver beautiful speeches!
One other memory that stands out to us is under the tent. All of our guests just settling into their seats. The two of us happened to be crossing the dance floor when a favorite song of ours came on (“Seniority” by Justin Timberlake, naturally). The sun was shining ,we were so happy to be married, and broke out into a little dance party for that brief moment.

The best part of having such a rock star wedding planner was the piece of mind that there was a quarterback keeping all of the moving pieces in check so we didn’t have to worry at all!
Being from New York, unaware of the popular Maine vendors, and not having any clue about design, Christina truly saved the day! She worked with us from the very beginning, understanding our "vision" and bringing it to life. She has great relationships in the Maine wedding network and helped us get an outstanding caterer, photographer, etc. Christina was also truly on her game when it came to the logistics of an island wedding, the coordination involved in that piece alone was incredible and we couldn't have pulled it off without her. Outside of nailing our own wedding, I recommend working with Christina because she is very dedicated. Every part of our wedding had 110% of her attention and effort. Not only that, but she made a really hectic thing fun!
