Christina's Rifle Paper - Themed Bridal Shower

I’ve always been a huge fan of stationery, so it only seemed appropriate to incorporate my love of paper into my wedding planning! After attending multiple National Stationery Shows and running my gift box business with Amanda Fogarty, I had all the inspiration I needed to plan my perfect bridal shower - Rifle Paper Co theme. I’m not a huge fan of attention, so I wanted an activity to happen throughout the event. Not only did this help divert all eyes on me, but guests also had something fun to do other than watch me open presents! Working off the Rifle Paper theme, I decided a flower-arranging class with Lindsay from Yellow Twist Floral Design was the perfect option. Additionally, while planning I was in the midst of purchasing my second house (yes I know, wedding planning, buying a house, running a business - I like a full plate!). Needless to say, I had many of the household items often found on registries, so I decided to gear the list towards our honeymoon. You’ll see below how I married (no pun intended) the theme of florals and travel below!

Invitations

Invitations came from the Paper Source since they had official Rifle Paper designs. Of course, we had to use the USPS Love Stamps as well.

signage

Playing off the honeymoon theme, I included Rifle Paper artwork of some of the places we will be visiting on our trip! We set these up on the gift table, so people could see exactly where their gifts would take us! We also ordered fabric from Rifle and had a friend make into table runners.

flowers

Lindsay did such a great job guiding our (60) guests on how to arrange fresh flowers. At each place setting there was a ceramic container with floral wire, a Rifle thank you tag, and a vase full of flowers to pull from for their arrangement!

Rifle Paper Cookies

dessert

Rifle recently launched their Party Goods line, so it only seemed appropriate to use some of their napkins for our dessert display. We used Aisling’s Cookies to create customized cookies in our floral honeymoon theme.

family & friends

I’m so blessed to have had so many of my family and friends join me on this amazing day! October is only a few months away, but my heart is already full thinking about being with all of these people again to celebrate becoming Mr. and Mrs!
